Well this certainly has been an interesting weekend for not having a match-up between ranked teams.
In last night’s late night, WSU played about as bad as a team can play and got blown out, so many mistakes.
In the early games, TCU and KSU got delayed a few hours to practically become a 3:30 game. TCU easily prevailed. Another couple games were delayed/ppd also.
Michigan got taken to OT at Indiana. A nice defensive stand in OT, but yikes, hope they perform like that next week.
WVU scored the last 29 points in shootout to knock off ranked Texas Tech.
Miami made a comeback after it started to rain pretty good to win by one over GT. Back to back cliffhanger escapes.
Auburn allows LSU to comeback from big deficit and loses again. Clemson was understandable..This makes it look like Auburn didn’t deserve the pre-season hype as a legitimate threat to Bama.
Navy lost to Memphis to fall from being unbeaten. Can’t root against the armed forces teams.
OU beat Texas in an close one. Saw nothing of it as it was the one 3:30 game not shown on the Texas (ironic?) Roadhouse set of big screens (3 had Auburn game). Sorry to Gary.
USC’s talent took over in a 2-TD deficit comeback in the 2nd half against Utah to take a lead, then Utah drives for a potential tying score in last minute. They decide to go for two, but in what I can only think of as a not very well executed play, the Utah player on a scramble appeared to only have the intent to run the ball and not try and pass to what appeared to be a wide open receiver. Maybe I misinterpreted it all. USC wins by one.
There are two late night games with ranked teams also.
Plus I’ll add my dislike for the all black uniforms. Have seen at least 3 teams using them tonight that are not standard uniforms or even close to colors.
And 60, thanks for the insight of NU in the other thread.
