Yesterday was a mess across CFB.
Wisconsin has played nobody, though Northwestern looks a bit better after 3 solid wins in a row. Florida State bounced back against Syracuse thanks to 3 big plays and Dungey needing to leave for a couple of series, but there is a slaughter coming at Clemson. After that, FSU is trying to reschedule Monroe, so 3 dead opponents could still yield a 6-6 season and keep the bowl streak alive.
Because good god Florida is horrible. They just got humiliated by a terrible Missouri team.
I channel flipped with great fury during the afternoon games.
I thought Penn State and Ohio State both just looked spent. Iowa running a fake punt while up 31 points is going to hurt them down the road against Urban Meyer.
Nebraska and Northwestern had an entertaining game though not great in quality. NW wins in overtime. Nebraska made the last mistake, and was somewhat cowardly towards the end of the 4th quarter.
Iowa State valiantly tried to come back against West Virginia in what was a trap game from the very start.
Bedlam is such a stupid nickname. It's not a real rivalry. Unless OU is way down, they always win that game, it's always a mess, OU fans always cry like they lost after it, we overrate the mediocre spread white quarterback instead of celebrating the actual athletes on the field.
There was Ole Miss and Kentucky in there somewhere. A great game between Clemson and the punks from NC State. Georgia and Notre Dame looked good taking care of business. Lost in the mess was that Arkansas barely came back to beat 1-8 Coastal Carolina. Bielema is hanging on.
Miami looked ready for Notre Dame last night. Alabama did what Bama does.
